Information Text Regarding the Protection of Personal Data

This document serves as an annex to the membership agreement and contains information regarding Personal Data obtained through this agreement.

1- In accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, our company, YAŞAR KENDİR TEKSTİL İTHALAT VE İHRACAT DIŞ TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (each referred to as the “Company”), as the DATA CONTROLLER, may record, classify, process, store, update, and transfer to third parties the personal data (Name/Surname/email/Phone number/Address) of the person who submitted the application for opening a membership account, which it obtained through this Membership Form, in cases permitted by the relevant legislation.

2- Personal data obtained from individuals applying for membership accounts may be processed by our company for the following purposes: maintaining control over sales and supply management, billing, making legal notifications, handling delivery processes, monitoring customer requests and/or complaints, managing business processes, promoting all types of products and services, advertising, communication, marketing, determining usage habits, sending commercial electronic messages, enabling customers to benefit from products and services, planning sales and marketing activities for products and services, fulfilling contractual and legal responsibilities completely and accurately, creating member-specific services, creating visitor records, planning, executing, and managing commercial collaborations, management and communication activities and strategies, improving the services offered on our website, and correcting errors on the site.

3- Personal data received from individuals applying for membership accounts may be transferred by the Company to individuals, institutions, and/or organizations required and/or permitted by relevant laws and regulations, public legal entities authorized to receive data, the Company's shareholders, employees, domestic/foreign affiliates, domestic/foreign individuals, institutions, organizations, and/or other third parties with whom it collaborates and/or receives services.

4- Personal data of the person submitting the application for opening a membership account may be collected by the Company through its employees, domestic/foreign affiliates, collaborating individuals, institutions and/or organizations, official institutions or other third parties, verbally, in writing or electronically, wholly or partially automatically, or through non-automatic means provided that it is part of any data recording system.

5- The person who submits a request for the opening of a membership account has the right to: a) learn whether their personal data is being processed, b) request information regarding the processing of their personal data if it has been processed, c) learn the purpose of the processing of their personal data and whether it is being used in accordance with its purpose, d) know the third parties to whom their personal data has been transferred domestically or abroad, e) request the correction of their personal data if it is incomplete or inaccurate, f) within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the legislation.

They have the right to: g) request the deletion or destruction of their personal data; h) request that the actions taken pursuant to clauses (e) and (f) be notified to third parties to whom their personal data has been transferred; i) object to a result that is detrimental to them arising from the analysis of their processed data exclusively through automated systems; and j) demand compensation for damages if they suffer harm due to the unlawful processing of their personal data.
