Separate Grain Baldo Rice Recipe

1. Soak 1 cup of Separate Grain Baldo Rice in warm water for 30 minutes.
2. Drain and rinse until free of starch.
3. Sauté over high heat for 4 minutes with 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil and 1 tablespoon of butter.
4. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 2 cups of hot water.
5. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes, then turn off the heat.
6. Let rest for 20 minutes and serve.

Cooking Suggestion

• Wash the rice thoroughly to remove the starch from it.
• Soaking it in cold water for half an hour reduces the cooking time.
• Adding a little lemon juice while cooking the rice pilaf makes its color whiter.
